so organized expectations

Hands-On:

What you can expect from me:

Confidentiality:

No one will know you’re my client unless you tell them. Anything we discuss or that I see will remain 100% confidential. This is both my personal pledge to you and my obligation to adhere to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Professional Organizers.

No Judgment:

There is SO much more to disorganization than the “stuff”; whatever it is that got you here, I appreciate you allowing me to help you move forward.

Respect:

For your home and/or office and your customs (ie: indoor-only shoes, minimizing interruptions)

Timeliness:

I will confirm our appointment the day before and show up at the agreed upon time.

Learning:

How to apply basic organizing concepts to all areas of your life to create and maintain systems customized to you, your life/work style and your space.

Support:

Organizing is a process that takes time. I’m available in between appointments via email, text or a quick phone call to provide ongoing support as needed.

Energy:

I love what I do and I try and bring this energy to every job.

What I can expect from you:

Understanding:

Keep in mind that your space didn’t reach its current state in a day therefore it will likely take more than 4 hours to reach your desired goal(s).

Presence:

Yes, you need to be there! I am going to teach you a skill set that you will have for the rest of your life!

Respect:

This includes minimizing interruptions and adhering to the So Organized! cancellation policy as outlined in the Letter of Agreement.

Communication:

Often during a working appointment, things will look worse, before they look better. Each client has their own comfort level with this and I want to know how you’re feeling, so I can make adjustments along the way; the process of becoming organized can be stressful, however, once you become organized your stress will ultimately be reduced.

Collaboration:

We are in this together! While I bring a skill-set and expertise to every job, I am also here to teach and support you through the organizing process. Your space needs to work for you and your lifestyle; I will make suggestions and you decide what you want; the “right” solution is the one that works for you.
