About Jody Berman How did you become a Professional Organizer? I always wanted my own business and left advertising to pursue a degree and career in interior design. I did a lot of organizing with decorating clients and found that the organizing was more enjoyable than the design work. I didn’t know I could make a career out of organizing until I read about it in a women’s magazine under post-partum pick-me-ups! Honestly. That was my “AHA” moment when I realized that everything I’d done in the past led me to this career. So Organized! was born in 1996; I joined NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), and I never looked back. You’ve contacted me, because you’re ready to make a change. You can’t stand how you feel about your stuff, your space, your stress. Once you experience the benefits of being organized you won’t want to return to feeling overwhelmed.
